Welcome to the Mystic Koi Growers Community, operated by Mystic Koi & Water Gardens, Upland, California. By creating an account or using this site you agree to these terms — written in plain language, because this is a koi community, not a courtroom.

What this platform is

A community for koi keepers to document their fish, share grow-out progress, and participate in grow-out contests hosted by Mystic Koi and, in the future, partner clubs, shops, and groups. Contest rules, prizes, and judging for each grow-out are published by its host and may change season to season.

Your account

You must be 13 or older. Keep your sign-in email accurate — it's how contest purchases are linked to your account. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.

Your content

Photos, videos, and text you post remain yours. By posting, you give us permission to display them on the platform and to feature community content in Mystic Koi's own channels (with credit to your display name). If you delete your account, this permission ends and your content is removed.

Community conduct

Be cool — this is a koi family. No harassment, spam, hate speech, or off-topic commerce. Koi owners moderate comments on their own journals; contest hosts and Mystic Koi moderate their spaces and may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

Contests

Koi purchases, shipping, refunds, and rewards are governed by the terms presented at purchase (through the Mystic Koi store or the relevant host). Grow-out judging decisions are final. Rewards and milestones offered on the platform have no cash value.

The honest disclaimers

The platform is provided as-is; we work hard to keep it running but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Husbandry information shared here (by us or by other growers) is community knowledge, not veterinary advice. Koi are living animals — growth results vary and no outcome is promised. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid to use the platform (which is nothing — it's free).
